I noticed that Timely doesn’t like to use his stainless steel bowls anymore. Because the bowls were too deep (1.5 inches) and too small (3.5 inches diameter) for him, Timely gets food on his nose when he is eating, and the bowl stand is no longer high enough for him since he is a big boy now Therefore, I decided to get him a new set of feeding bowls.

Stainless steel bowls are nice, but they are not as cute as patterned ceramic bowls. I went on eBayo look for the perfect one and I noticed that most of the sellers didn’t specify if their ceramic bowls are lead-fee or have been approved by the FDA or not. It’s important to choose lead free ceramic feeding bowls for your pet because just like human beings, lead poisoning will cause damage to many organs and especially to the central nervous system.

I found Mickey’s Pet Supplies online and I ordered two ceramic cat bowls and a bowl stand from them. Timely was very excited about his new dining wares when I was un-boxing the package. The bowls cost $6.25 each and the stand was $8.25.

Mickey’s Pet Supplies shipped my package very quickly and it’s well packed.

Chi's sweet home

I bought this manga at Borders today. I was attracted by the title of the book, because my name is in it, and there was a cat on the cover. This comic book not only has super cute drawings, but the storyline is also similar with what happened between Timely and I. I think any kitten owner can easily relate themselves to this book. There are only two volumes available in English right now and I think I will try to collect the whole series. Looking forward to the 3rd volume in October….This manga has also released a cartoon series in Japan.

Dr. Harvey's Organic Healing Cream I

This is the ointment that Timely used  when his ear got cut by the window blinds. Dr. Harvey’s Organic Healing Cream is a great ointment because it’s all natural and made by organic ingredients. It can be used on cats , dogs, birds and even on their owners :) .  I think maybe you can also apply it on rabbits and hamsters. With it’s all natural components, it’s less worrisome to me if Timely ever tried to lick the ointment off.

This Healing cream works quickly and it’s easy to apply.

You or your animal can use this product for the following symptoms: minor skin irritations, hot spots, rashes, cuts, burns and itching.

Cat product review:4 paws

Jay got this for the rascal because we weren’t good at using the eye dropper to feed him. It’s very helpful to have a nursing bottle for feeding our little kitten and this kit comes with 2 extra nipples and a bottle cleaning brush. This bottle feeding kit cost less than 5 dollars. The only downside about this product was its nipples were very hard to cut open.

You have to cut the nipples yourself. If you don’t cut the hole big enough, kittens will have trouble getting the milk from the bottle. On the contrary, if the hole was cut too wide, kittens may choke during consumption. Overall, I give this product 4 paws, since it’s very easy to clean and easy to use for feeding my little guy.
